Challenge
  • Create a system to collect and retrieve results for elections;
  • This system should be able to:
    1. Give access to entities with priority access, the media and general public;
    2. Enter information like affluences and votes – nulls, blanks for each running candidate;
    3. Know the exact time that each data is entered in the system; Produce several reports;
    4. Make results available through HTTP.
Solution
  • A web-based system to support Provisory Results of elections with two main components – one to get information and another to show that same information.
Benefit
  • A more reliable and dependable system to support the Portuguese Ministry of Justice.
