SISone4all

IT solution for the enlargement of the Schengen Space in the EU

Challenge
  • SIS II would only be ready in late 2009. Without a proper Information System, the nine "new" EU Member States wouldn't be able to join the Schengen area in the established time schedule (end of 2007)
Solution
  • SISone4ALL works on top of the existing system SIS (Schengen Information System) but with current and modern technologies. It includes all relevant information on European citizens and critical information to the authorities such as missing persons, as well as information on criminal activities such as theft of vehicles or weapons.
Benefit
  • Made the admission of nine "new" EU Member States to the Schengen area possible. The abolition of internal borders in these countries was a truly historic moment for the EU and a decisive mark in the Portuguese Presidency.

Client / Partner
